Location: Classes will be online through Microsoft Teams | More info will be sent out before first class
Dates: Mondays & Thursdays | 8/3, 8/6, 8/10, 8/13, 8/17, 8/20, 8/24, 8/27
Time: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Target: Entering 7th grade - 10th grade

Instructors: 

Aaron Xie
Aaron is an incoming senior at Newport High School. He is particularly interested in the intersection of tech and business. In DECA, he placed top 20 at Internationals, qualifying twice. In school, he is also in Debate and Swim. Outside of school, he has participated in several entrepreneurship camps and real-life business experiences. In his free time, he enjoys music and video games.
Hanson Dai
Hanson is a rising senior at Issaquah High School. Having 3 years of local and international teaching experience, Hanson is currently a STEM and English teacher for many organizations. At school, he is actively involved in DECA, having attended state and international conferences. Last summer, Hanson studied at Washington Business Week.  
Sasha Shunko
Sasha is a rising senior at Issaquah High School and is thrilled to be a part of S.A.F.E. where she can share her love for business with students. At school, she participates in swim team and DECA club where she is currently chapter president. Out of school, she works as a swim coach and enjoys hiking and playing piano.

Curriculum

The Entrepreneurship class gives students the mindset and skills to become aspiring entrepreneurs. The program delves into finance, branding, marketing and business principles to explore their real world applications. Students will be immersed into the entrepreneurial process and will take their initial idea from the first class to a well-developed business idea and pitch by the final class.

Prerequisites: Passed last math course.
