Trevor Kwan is a rising Senior at Newport High School who is passionate about photography and videography. In addition to the experience he’s gained from taking AP Photo and DVA 1&2 classes at Newport, Trevor is also lead member of Newport Robotics Group's media team. Since picking up his first camera over 4 years ago, Trevor has shot over 40 short films and taken over 17,000 photos.
Taeho is a rising senior at Newport high school. He is passionate about filmmaking and video production and has made countless professional videos and films which have been accepted into 10 film festivals. He has had his films played in many cinemas like the AMC theater in New York and recently have been awarded a Highschool Emmy in the Northwest NATAS.
Intro to Video Production and Photo Editing is an fast-paced and intensive introduction to the world of photography and filmmaking. The program consists of 6 1-hour courses covering the basics of using premiere pro and lightroom, framing and composition, color grading, and sound design. By the end of this course, students should be able to shoot and edit a high quality video and know the basics for photo editing.
